Move the hand into … Move the hand into position to make is easier for the pinky. Takes practice but the quick hand move makes it happen.

when doing the A7, … when doing the A7, my highest bass note (4th string) almost always sounds dead. It seems a large stretch for me still, whilst keeping pressure on your index finger and still reach out with your pinky the other way. Is it just a matter of practice, or is there a way to make it feel like it isn't that much of a stretch? (loosen up your grip on the neck maybe? I still squeeze it pretty hardly, don't know if that's a good idea or not…)
